RESEARCH
My research interests are focused on the theoretical investigation of polymeric systems of various concentrations, architectures, and under various environmental conditions. Starting by microscopic models based on the molecular nature of matter and by using methods of statistical physics the dependency of the average properties of the system is given as function of the molecular weight, the temperature and solvent quality.  The following systems are indicative of our effort in understanding the behavior of polymeric systems, a) of dilute polymeric systems in which isolated chains can describe the system, b) of concentrated solutions in which interactions of chains are taken into account and a treatment is done towards the extraction of free energy, osmotic pressure and equation of state, c) of dense systems of melts and blends of polymers and the way phase diagrams can be determined, d) of homopolymers of one kind of monomers as well as of copolymers of more kind of monomers, e) of  different architectures of polymeric systems for example, ring, star, and recently dendritic polymers, and) of polymers at interfaces and surfaces.
Recently, we also found interest in diffusive motion of large particle. By means of accurate microscopic models we describe the macroscopic behavior of moving particles observed in biology and nanotechnology.
